The amendment of Water Law and the codification of water law system
This article analyzes the structure of the water legal system and the positioning of the current Water Law of the People's Republic of China(hereinafter referred to as the Water Law),analyzes the problems existing in the water law sys-tem,and proposes that the water law system needs a comprehensive and fundamental law.It is suggested to revise the Water Law to"the basic law for a comprehensive water management",promote the codification of the water law system,strength-en the construction of water law governance,enhance the law-based governance of water,and ensure the high-quality devel-opment of water governance.
