Analysis of key design points for newly built water-intake pump stations in running reservoirs
Due to the functional requirements of pump stations and the special environment in which they are located,the construction of new water-intake pump stations in running reservoirs often involves many difficulties such as construction diversion,structural safety,and reservoir protection.The rationality of the pump station design scheme directly affects the input-output efficiency of the project.This article selects the embankment pump station of the Hexi Branch Line of the South to North Water Diversion Project as the analysis object,which is located on the beach of the embankment side of the Daning Reservoir.Due to the long-term storage and operation of the Daning Reservoir,the construction difficulty of the pro-ject is high.A study and analysis are conducted on key design points such as cofferdam filling,foundation pit support,pump station main structure layout,and pump station exterior wall waterproofing during the design process and a technically feasible,economically reasonable,and safe and reliable pump station design is are determined.The project has been suc-cessfully implemented and can provide reference for the design of similar projects in the future.
