The construction of water network projects will be the key task of national water control of China in the future.As the key components of water network projects,the management mechanism of water diversion projects is important for the high-quality development of water network projects.Through literature review,this article summarizes the management mechanisms of water diversion projects at home and abroad from two aspects of management system and construction and op-eration mode.Considering the characteristics of water project,this article puts forward suggestions for management system and mode of water diversion and transfer projects in China's water network,including improving the legal protection,clarif-ying the macro-guiding position of the government and the main operating position of the management unit,choosing the management system according to the nature of the project,and bringing forth new construction and operation mode by inte-gratingavailable modes,so as to provide reference for effective management and scientific scheduling of water diversion pro-jects in China.
