Assessment of the Habitat Value of the Important Species in Daqing Longfeng Wetlands
The wetland development in Daqing is more mature and rich in resources and species, which have important economic , social and ecological value. The wetlands in Daqing mainly include natural wetlands and artificial wetlands. The function value of the species habitat has critical meaning for wetlands. The evaluation results can be used for decision makers to provide economic value evaluation scale, to improve the awareness of the public to protect the habitat of important species. This article chooses the Longfeng wetlands in Daqing city as the research objects which are important to the regional ecological environment. On the basis of the analysis of wetland types, the function value of the Longfeng wetland species habitats was quantitatively evaluated. The purpose is to show the function value of the species habitat provided by the wetland ecological system in the form of currency, so people can have sensory awareness and improve the understanding of the comprehensive wetland system, which can also provide a basis for the protection of wetland and the resources herein and research. By using the ecological value method, the value of the species habitat was preliminarily estimated. The results showed that the development stage coefficient in Daqing is 0. 58 in 2004, and the function value of the wetland species habitats in the study area is 16. 5517 million yuan. The study further indicates that in the current stage of social development , it is very import to protect the environment of wetlands.
