Research on Properties of PBAT Toughening and Modifying Crosslinked PBS
The crosslinked poly (butylene succinate) (PBS) was melting blended and modified with poly(butyleneadipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT).Using melt flow rate rheometer, capillary rheometer, polarizing microscope (POM),X-ray diffraction (XRD),differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and electronic universal testing machine,it analyzed the rheological properties, thermal properties, crystallization properties and mechanical properties of the blends. The results showed that with PBAT content increasing, the melt viscosity of the blend increased, the degree of crystallinity decreased, the tensile strength reduced, elongation at break of PBAT content at 30% reached 300%,about 30 times of that of pure PBS,it significantly improved the toughness of the material.
