Study on the Cellulose Diacetate/Poly (butylene succinate) Composites
Using maleic anhydride (MAH) as crosslink agent, the cellulose diacetate (CDA)/poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) composites was prepared through melting with CDA and PBS,in which CDA is a kind of recycled material. The structures and properties of the composites were characterized by FTIR and DSC.The morphology of the composites was observed by SEM.The mechanical properties of the composites were measured. The results show that mechanical properties of the composites with 90wt% CDA and 10wt% PBS are similar to that of PBS.The composites has the optimum mechanical properties when 2wt% MAH is added to the CDA/PBS melt mixing system. The elongation at break and impact strength of the composites are 68.23%and 47.70 kJ/m2,respectively,which are 2.1 and 3.1 times of those of PBS.The CDA/PBS composites could be a kind of biodegradable plastic with lower price.
