Effects of Applying Hydrogenated Petroleum Resin on Properties of Isotactic Polypropylene Casting Film
In this study, the performance of isotactic polypropylene(iPP)film after adding hydrogenated petroleum resin(C9)had been investigated.Around 0~20%in mass C9 was added into iPP material. The results show that the water vapor transmission rate of the cast film decreases by 41.3%after introducing C9 content reaches 20%.Tensile strengths in machine direction and transverse direction are independent on the contents of C9.C9 can significantly decrease the haze of film, while it has less influence on transmittance. Finally, the heat-sealing temperature is decreased from 172 ℃ to 166 ℃ after introducing C9 contents reached 20%.
