Study on Heat Treatment Characteristics and Kinetics of Resin Particles from Typical Automobile Parts
In order to investigate the heat treatment characteristics of injection(blown)plastic particles of auto parts, the weight loss characteristics of 24 kinds of resin particles from 6 typical auto parts enterprises in Shunyi District of Beijing were analyzed by thermogravimetric analyzer. The results show that the weight loss of 24 kinds of resin particles in the thermogravimetric simulation injection(blow)molding process is less.Using the integral methods proposed by Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose(KAS),Horowitz and Metzger, the average activation energy(E)of 24 kinds of resins is 31.962-202.037 kJ/mol.At the same time, the typical polypropylene(PP)resin particles were selected for thermogravimetric analysis at different heating rates of 5,20 and 30℃/min.The kinetic parameters were calculated by three iso-conversional methods of Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO),KAS and Starink. The E values of typical PP resins under nitrogen atmosphere are respectively 85.433,88.500 and 85.671 kJ/mol.The best fitting reaction kinetics model is A4,which is determined via applying Master-plots methods based on the thermogravimetric analysis at 20℃/min.And the reaction mechanism function is as follows:f(x)=4(1-x)[-ln(1-x)]3/4.The pyrolysis reactions are consistent with random nucleation and nuclear growth models.
