Evaluation of Uncertainty in Determining the Glass Transition Temperature of ASA Resin by Differential Scanning Calorimetry
According to the methods of GB/T 19466.2-2004,the glass transition temperature of acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile(ASA)resin was tested by using a differential scanning calorimeter. The possible influencing factors of the glass transition temperature determined by this method were analyzed in combination with the laboratory conditions and the experimental process.A mathematical model was established to analyze the sources of uncertainty components and evaluate the uncertainty.By comprehensively examining factors such as repeatability of measurement, errors introduced by the balance, and standard values of reference materials, the synthetic uncertainty of glass transition temperature measurement results of ASA resin was calculated.Through this study, the key control points were identified.By evaluating the uncertainty, the reliability and accuracy of the testing results of the center were reflected.Testing personnel were motivated to improve their technical level.
