Effects of Additives on the Polypropylene Appearances after Solvent Extraction
For the modified polypropylene(PP),to solve the problem of appearance deterioration after extraction, the effects of single antioxidant, nucleating agents and talcum powder on the color stability of PP in pure water, alkaline sodium hydroxide solution and acid formic acid solution were studied under three different extraction conditions(75℃).The results show that the introduction of antioxidant further degrades the color stability of PP after extraction, and the deterioration functions of the primary antioxidants of hindered phenols are particularly significant.Partial nucleating agents and talcum powder slightly reduce the color differences of PP after extraction. The influences of the mass fractions of talcum powder on the color differences are not obvious.
