Research on Downstream Scouring Dynamics of Low Head Sluice Dam Engineering Based on Numerical Simulation
Low head gate dam engineering has long faced downstream riverbed erosion problems. For this reason,a hydraulic model of the gate chamber section is constructed through analysis of different operating conditions and parameters. At the same time,a numerical model is constructed based on the fluent platform, and boundary settings and dynamic mesh macro functions are used to control fluid mutation and improve the model. In experimental analysis, particle size and erosion flow rate have a direct impact on the depth and range of erosion pits.Numerical simulation of the flow velocity distribution in downstream scouring pits shows that the secondary development model can accurately reflect the actual scouring situation, with a relative error of 0.092%,which is superior to the original model. The research results provide important technical references for the construction and maintenance of water conservancy engineering.
