Study on Damage of Hydraulic Concrete under Freeze-Thaw and Sulfate Action
To the damage of hydraulic concrete under freeze-thaw cycles and different sulfate concentrations, changes in mass loss, compressive strength, splitting strength and elastic modulus of concrete under sulfate action are studied through experiments. The results show that ①with the increase of Na2 SO4 concentration, the mass loss rate, compressive strength, splitting strength and elastic modulus of concrete under freeze-thaw cycles decreased significantly;②under freeze-thaw combined with sulfate, the early failure of concrete is mainly affected by freezing and thawing,in the later stage, the damage was aggravated by the combined action of sulfate and freeze-thaw.
