Unsteady Flow Field Analysis of Impeller and Guide Vane in Vertical Axial Flow Pump
In order to analyze the unsteady flow field of the impeller and guide vane of the vertical axial flow pump device, the three-dimensional unsteady numerical calculation of the whole flow channel of the vertical axial flow pump device is carried out by ANSYS CFX,and the energy performance of the pump device are predicted, and verified by physical model test. The results show that the axial velocity distribution of the circumferential measurement line at the inlet of the impeller is sinusoidal, and the number of peaks and valleys is consistent with the number of impeller blades.Under the condition of small flow rate, the velocity distribution on the impeller inlet surface is significantly affected by the impeller, with the maximum weighted velocity deviation angle and the maximum average vortex angle at the outlet of the guide vane. With the increase of flow rate, the energy loss of elbow inlet increases gradually. The energy loss of the guide vane first decreases and then increases with the increase of flow rate. The energy loss of the guide vane is the smallest under the optimal condition, and the sum of the energy loss of the 60°elbow and siphon outlet is the largest under the small flow condition. The research results are beneficial to structure optimization and energy efficiency improvement of vertical axial flow pump.
