Design and Hydrostatic Pressure Test of Underground Steel Bifurcated Pipe
The 1#bifurcated pipe of a construction project in Xinjiang is an underground steel bifurcated pipe, which adopts the construction plan of assembly and welding in tunnel, and hydrostatic pressure test in tunnel. The location of the bifurcated pipe is affected by the regional structure nearby, with developed schistosity and fissures, and fragmented rock mass.During the excavation, primary support measures were strengthened to ensure the stability and safety of the cavern. The 1#bifurcated pipe of the project is subjected to high water pressure, with a maximum HD value of 2 616.0 m2.It is made of 800 MPa grade B780CF steel. After the installation of the bifurcated pipe is completed,an in-situ hydrostatic pressure test and stress-strain detection are carried out inside the tunnel to grasp the stress distribution and deformation situation of each important part of the bifurcated pipe. The design of the 1#bifurcated pipe, excavation and support of the tunnel, and the hydrostatic pressure test inside the tunnel have certain reference and guidance significance for similar projects.
