Construction and application of 3D digital assets in reservoirs based on BIM+GIS
With the digitalization of the water conservancy industry, the value of data assets is increasingly prominent.BIM and GIS data represent crucial outcomes of engineering digitization and serve as valuable 3D digital assets.Taking Zhuxi reservoir as a case, this article focuses on optimizing the production methods of BIM and GIS data.It introduces an approach that combines Civil 3D,Revit,and Dynamo software for dam parametric modeling, thereby automating repetitive modeling work and improving the efficiency and quality of BIM modeling for reservoir structures.By using airborne LiDAR to collect the terrain of the reservoir area and efficiently processing it with professional software, ground point clouds and high-resolution digital elevation models are obtained. Then, relying on BIM+GIS technology, the study further involves data light-weighting,coordinate registration, and rendering publishing to construct a precise mapping of physical project data and visualization scenarios, thus forming 3D digital assets. On this basis, application scenarios are expanded and studied with point cloud review calculation,BIM+VR guidance for construction, and visualization of equipment operating conditions, which has significant reference value for the research and implementation of reservoir digital assets.
