Research and application of remote sensing-based methods for defining the management and protection scope of water conservancy projects
Aiming at the lack of current norms and standards to guide the delineation of management and protection areas for small-scale water conservancy projects,as well as the absence of an established and applicable process, this paper proposes a method and process for delineating the management scope of water conservancy projects based on high-definition imagery from unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs).By classifying and extracting information from UAV high-definition imagery, combined with GPS surveying and spatial data input, the management and protection area of water conservancy projects is delineated following the proposed discrimination method and delineation process, thereby clarifying specific delineation values. The proposed delineation method is applied and verified in the delineation work of the management and protection area of water conservancy projects in Tongzhou District,Beijing.Verification results show that the method based on UAV high-definition imagery for delineating the management area of water conservancy projects can not only be applied to small-scale water conservancy projects but also provide references for the specific delineation of large and medium-sized water conservancy projects, making it of significant importance to enhance the implementation and management of water conservancy projects.
