Research on the unification of water level and discharge relationship through engineering measures in Kejie River channel section
In order to grasp the hydrological characteristics such as changes in cross-sectional scouring and deposition,hydrological measuring conditions,and variations in the water level-discharge relationship following the implementation of engineering measures in Kejie River channel section,and to advance the automation of hydrological data collection,as well as the digitalization,informatization,and intellectualization of data management,a study on unifying the water level-discharge relationship through engineering measures in Kejie River channel section was conducted.Based on the hydrological data collected before and after the engineering measures,comparative analysis and error analysis methods were used to statistically analyze the effects of the engineering measures.The results indicate that the implementation of the engineering measures significantly reduced changes in cross-sectional scouring and deposition,improved conditions for monitoring water levels and discharge,and led to a stabilization in the water level-discharge relationship.The capacity of the river section to handle floods from high flood levels to guaranteed water levels decreased by 6.4%to 14.9%.The outcomes of Kejie River channel section unification engineering measures are significant and can serve as a reference for advancing further work and for the application and research of unification engineering measures in river channel sections.
