Practice of"Four Preventions"digital twin application for Qiantang River
To address the challenges of insufficient flood control capacity and inadequate data integration and utilization in the management of Qiantang River Basin, and to enhance coordination and systemization in basin governance, this study integrates specialized models, such as the unified forecasting and scheduling system above Fuchunjiang Dam,and employs key technologies including intelligent sensing for project safety, flood evolution in tidal estuaries, and integrated flood forecasting and scheduling.By building an integrated"sky-earth"sensing network and a multi-source data fusion platform,a multi-scenario application of the"Four Preventions"functions including forecasting, early warning, simulation, and contingency planning is developed. The application focuses on analyzing flood conditions and forecasting future trends, enabling real-time monitoring and precise management of rainfall, hydrological conditions, engineering conditions, and disasters across the basin. The research has yielded positive results in flood control and support for Hangzhou Asian Games within Qiantang River Basin, offering valuable insights for the construction of digital twin basins nationwide.
