Key technologies for water resource scheduling and 3D simulation in Hexi Main Canal of Qingtongxia Irrigation District
As a pilot canal section of Ningxia's twin digital platform for water scheduling, the Hexi Main Canal plays a critical role in water transmission and distribution within the Qingtongxia Irrigation District. This study focuses on the water resource scheduling process of the Hexi Main Canal, exploring methods to achieve scientific water resource scheduling in a digital twin scenario.By integrating digital twin technologies, the research establishes a comprehensive twin-based scheduling system that simulates and maps the physical world. This system utilizes technologies such as multi-source heterogeneous twin data platforms, visualization models,one-dimensional hydrodynamic models, and hydraulic gate models. The twin-based scheduling system enables real-time monitoring and visualization of early warning information for water resource scheduling simulation scenarios in the Hexi Main Canal. It supports precise simulation of gate water regulation within the twin scenario and offers predictive capabilities for dispatching plan rehearsals, significantly enhancing the scientific accuracy and efficiency of water resource scheduling. The findings provide robust technical support for refined management of the Hexi Main Canal and offer a replicable construction approach and implementation path for building digital twin platforms in other irrigation districts.
