Research and quality analysis of Chlorella vulgaris mixotrophy medium
The purpose of this experiment was to improve the biomass and application potential of Chlorella vulgaris by optimizing the Chlorella vulgaris mixotrophy medium and combining it with industrial production. In this study,Chlorella vulgaris was used as the test object, and on the basis of the single factor of L-alanine,yeast hydrolysate, sodium acetate, and cyanocobalamin, the biomass was used as the response value, and the ratio of mixotrophy medium was optimized by response surface test. The results showed that the optimal ratio of Chlorella vulgaris mixotrophy medium was L-alanine 4.23 g/L,yeast hydrolysate 2.62 mL/L,sodium acetate 1.44 g/L,and cyanocobalamin 0.068 μg/L,and the OD680nm values Chlorella vulgaris reached 4.651 under these conditions. In the 300 L industrial production verification, the biomass of the optimized medium was 1.8 times that of the basal medium, indicating that the optimized medium could be used for industrial practice. The obtained algae powder was delicate, dark green, fragrant with herb, the protein content was 57.33 g/100 g,the moisture content was 4.40 g/100 g,the ash content was 4.87 g/100 g,the chlorophyll content was 40.47 mg/g,the lead and arsenic content was less than 0.1 mg/kg,and the mercury and cadmium were not detected. The microbial indicators were in line with the industry standards. The results can provide a reference basis for the industrial development of Chlorella vulgaris mixotrophy medium.
