Research progress on the mechanism of cold stress in ruminants and its regulation technology
Animal husbandry in northern China has great development potential,but the continuous low temperature in winter can easily cause cold stress response of ruminants,which leads to the reduction of ruminant performance,immunity,antioxidant,and other functions,and causes huge losses to animal production.Therefore,it is important to study the mechanism of cold stress and its regulation technology for the healthy development of animal husbandry in northern China.The paper reviews the mechanism of cold stress in ruminants,as well as the research progress on the production performance,physiological immunity and blood physiological and biochemical indexes of ruminants,and proposes the regulation technology related to cold stress,so as to provide a reference for the research on cold stress in ruminants.
