The purpose of the experiment was to develop a high-efficiency synthesis process of calcium hydroxyphosphate(HAP),a mineral element calcium feed additive.The effects of CaO/H3PO4 ratio,reaction temperature,titration phosphoric acid concentration,and reaction time on HAP were investigated,and the conditions of synthesizing calcium hydroxyphosphate were optimized by orthogonal test.The results showed that the optimum reaction conditions were as follows:CaO/H3PO4 ratio 1.75,reaction temperature of 90 ℃,dropping phosphoric acid concentration of 34%,and reaction time of 200 min.The structure of the product was analyzed by powder diffraction analysis(XRD),and the XRD patterns were consistent with the standard patterns 72-1243 of HAP.The study indicates that high purity HAP can be synthesized by using calcium oxide and phosphoric acid as raw materials under the optimized process conditions.
