Research progress on application of Lactobacillus acidophilus in aquaculture
With the development of the aquaculture industry,finding effective ways to improve the health and production efficiency of aquatic animals has become a research hotspot.Probiotics help reduce the risk of diseases in aquaculture animals and improve production performance.Lactobacillus acidophilus belongs to the genus Lactobacillus,and is a gram-positive probiotic,which exists widely in the natural environment and the digestive system of animals.It can regulate pH value,improve the growth performance and feed utilization of animals,and enhance the immune function of animals.This paper reviewed the application of Lactobacillus acidophilus in promoting the growth and nutrient utilization of aquatic animals,enhancing the immune function of aquatic animals and improving the intestinal structure and function of aquatic animals.It also discussed the role of Lactobacillus acidophilus in the prevention and control of bacterial diseases and water quality regulation,and put forward suggestions for future research direction of Lactobacillus acidophilus,to provide reference for the research and development of Lactobacillus acidophilus products and the sustainable development of aquaculture industry.
