Research progress on classification of lactic acid bacteria microencapsulation technology and its application in pig and cattle production
To shield lactic acid bacteria from adverse environmental influences and ensure their successful colonization and adhesion in the intestine,lactic acid bacteria used in feed are often microencapsulated.Microencapsulation technology can enhance the activity of lactic acid bacteria,promote their colonization in the gastrointestinal tract of animals,and thus better exert their probiotic effects.Lactic acid bacteria microcapsules can better improve animal stress resistance,enhance immune system function,and improve intestinal health.The article discusses the classification of microencapsulation technologies and commonly used wall materials,and summarizes the application of lactic acid bacteria microcapsules in pig and cattle production,providing a reference for the application and promotion of lactic acid bacteria microencapsulation technology in animal production.
