Research progress on physiological function of soybean lecithin and its application in animal production
Soybean lecithin is a by-product of soybean oil processing, containing a large amount of natural phospholipids, glycerin, unsaturated fatty acids, choline, inositol and other nutrients, with the promotion of animal growth, regulation of fat metabolism, improve blood biochemical indexes, enhance the body's antioxidant, immunity and anti-stress abilities, improving intestinal tissue morphology, regulate the microbial composition of the gastrointestinal tract and other biological functions, and play a crucial role in maintaining the normal life activities of the body.Soya lecithin plays a vital role in maintaining the normal life activities and nutritional health of animals.Soybean lecithin,as a safe and widely available feed additive, can be used in a variety of animal production as a substitute for some oils and fats, and has achieved good economic and social benefits and has a wide application prospect in animal production. This paper reviews the composition, nutritional and physiological functions of soybean phospholipids and their applications in monogastric, ruminant and aquatic animal production, with the aim of providing a reference for in-depth research and application of soybean phospholipids in animal production.
