Research progress in application of probiotics in efficient production of mutton sheep
Probiotics promote animal growth mainly by enhancing immunity,promoting digestion and absorption of nutrients,regulating intestinal microecological balance and improving intestinal barrier.In recent years,with the implementation of the total ban on feed,the market is in urgent need of green,safe and growth-promoting feed additives.Probiotics are widely used in mutton sheep production as a new feed additive to replace antibiotics because of their characteristics of no drug residue,non-pathogenic and low cost.Adding probiotics to the diet can promote the growth and development of mutton sheep,improve the quality of mutton,improve the antioxidant function and immune function,effectively improve the breeding efficiency and economic benefits of mutton sheep industry,and play an important role in the efficient production process of mutton sheep.This paper comprehensively discusses the mechanism of action of probiotics and their application effect on growth performance,apparent nutrient digestibility,meat production performance and immune function of mutton sheep production,aiming to provide reference for the rational application and development of probiotics in mutton sheep production.
