Carbon emissions from animal husbandry in China under the background of rural ecological revitalization:Dynamic evolution and analysis of influencing factors
This article selects the year-end inventory of major livestock and poultry in 31 provinces of China from 2006 to 2022 as the sample data, constructs a kernel density formula to analysis the dynamic evolution of carbon emissions in Chinese livestock industry, and combines the Tobit model to test the influencing factors of carbon emissions in Chinese livestock industry. The results showed that from 2006 to 2022,the overall carbon emissions of Chinese animal husbandry industry showed a downward trend, and the gap between provinces significantly narrowed. The carbon emission intensity of sheep farming shows a trend of first decreasing and then slowly increasing. The carbon emission intensity of beef cattle and pig farming is showing a downward trend. The dynamic evolution of carbon emissions from animal husbandry in the eastern, central, western regions, and the whole country shows a right dragging phenomenon. The technological progress, endowment structure, and transportation accessibility of animal husbandry can significantly improve the carbon emission efficiency of Chinese animal husbandry industry.Rooted in the background of rural ecological revitalization, this paper deeply explores the dynamic evolution of carbon emissions in Chinese animal husbandry and its influencing factors, which has important practical significance and can provide useful reference for improving the efficiency of carbon emissions in animal husbandry.
