医学生物信息学课程教学的探索与思考

生物信息学作为一门新兴的交叉学科,是通过综合运用数学、计算机科学、统计学和生物学的各种工具,来阐明和理解大量数据所包含的生物学意义。对于医学研究的发展,生物信息学具有广阔的应用前景。因此,对于医学专业高年级学生开展生物信息学课程十分必要。本文从医用生物信息学的理论课程介绍,实践教学环节,案例分析这3个方面探讨了如何提高生物信息学课程的教学质量,使生物信息学课程教学与医学应用实践紧密结合,从而使该课程能够为医学生从事未来的医学科研活动提供帮助。
Bioinformatics is a new interdisciplinary subject which can help clarify and understand the biological significance hided in the mass data by using the tools of mathematics,computer science,statistics and biology.The broad development prospects of Bioinformatics bring out the great development in medical research.Therefore,it is necessary to open the Bioinformatics course for those high grade medical students. In this paper,we explored how to improve the teaching quality of Bioinformatics course from three aspects:the introduction of theoretical course,the practice teaching and the case analysis.The Bioinformatics teach-ing should combine with the medical practice,and further provide the help for those medical students engage in the medical research activities in the future.
