Visual analysis of research on ethical review in Chinese hospitals from the perspective of institutional ethics
Objective To explore the current research status,research hotspots and development trends in the field of ethical review of hospitals in China under the perspective of institutional ethics.Methods Based on the perspective of institutional ethics,the literature related to ethical review in Chinese hospitals published in the CNKI,WanFang Data,and VIP from January 1,2014 to October 15,2024 was used as the dataset of this study,and CiteSpace 6.2.R6 software was used to analyze information such as year of publication,authors,research institutions,and keywords,and to draw the relevant knowledge maps.Results A total of 569 articles were included,and the number of research publications showed an upward trend,which has formed a highly productive group of authors,but the overall collaborative network of research authors was small,and there were geographical limitations in the distribution of research institutions.Ethics,medical ethics,informed consent,ethic,clinical research,hospitals,medical research,scientific and technological ethics,ethics archives,big data,organ transplants and etc.were the hot topics of the current research.Subjects,ethical governance,scientific and technological ethics,medicine,review efficiency,privacy protection and etc.were the topics at the forefront of research in the recent 3 years.Conclusion Currently,the field of hospital ethical review and research is developing rapidly in China,but there is less cross-institutional and cross-regional cooperation.In the future,communication should be strengthened,resources should be shared,and the establishment of a network of in-depth cooperative relationships in the field should be promoted.
