Plastic Mechanical Gears and Their Forming Processes
Plastic mechanical gears,as a good substitute for metal gears,have advantages such as light weight,low cost,easy processing,and wear resistance.In order to further improve the performance and processing technology of plastic mechanical gears,and expand their application scope in mechanical equipment,this paper studies the performance and forming process of plastic gears.This paper introduces the characteristics,material selection,and forming process of plastic mechanical gears,and optimizes their forming process with modern technology to minimize the finished product defects.The plastic molding process and parameter settings are important factors affecting gear accuracy.With the optimization of plastic mechanical gear forming process,it is expected to completely replace metal gears in terms of performance.
