Determination Methods for Contents and Categories of VOCs in Adhesive Products
Reliable and efficient detection methods can accurately determine the contents and categories of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in adhesive products,which can not only provide references for the production of adhesive products,but constantly improve the environmental safety of adhesive products.Nowadays,relevant institutions generally apply gas chromatography,gas chromatography-detector combination,gas chromatography-mass spectrometry to achieve the high sensitivity and selectivity detection of VOCs,by the optimization of headspace conditions,chromatographic column selection,and mass spectrometry parameters.With these methods,we can effectively separate and quantitatively analyze a variety of VOCs in adhesive products,including alkanes,olefins,aromatic hydrocarbons,aldehydes,ketones,etc.,and obtain detailed data of VOCs contents and category distributions.This study provides a reliable and efficient solution for the detection of VOCs contents and categories in adhesive products,the environmental friendliness of which can be thus evaluated,as well as a technical support for the formulation of relevant standards and regulations.
