A reactive light stabilizer was synthesized through a one-step reaction using tetramethylpiperidol(A)and methyl 4-pentenoate(B)as raw materials, petroleum ether(C)as a solvent, tetraisopropyl titanate(D)as a catalyst, and p-hydroxyanisole(E)as an inhibitor. Then this paper studied the effects of temperature, solvent, time, catalyst, materialratio, and inhibitor dosage on the product yield. The results showed that under the optimized reaction conditions as follows:n(A)∶n(B)was 1∶1.2,the amount of catalyst tetraisopropyl titanate(D)was 1.0%of the mass of raw material(A),the amount of petroleum ether(C)is 6.8 times the mass of raw material(A),the polymerization inhibitor p-hydroxyanisole(E)was 0.4%of the mass of raw material(A),reaction time 12 hours, and reaction temperature 120 ℃,the yield of the product willreach 80.68%.
