Plastic Drainage Board Treatment of Soft Soil Foundation in Highway Tunnels
Due to various factors such as geological conditions,groundwater level,soil type,soil compressibility,and human factors,soft soil foundations are often encountered during the construction process of highway tunnels,exhibiting characteristics such as loose soil,high water content,liquefiability,and susceptibility to settlement.If the soft soil foundation of the highway tunnels is not reinforced in a timely manner during the construction process,cracks are prone to occur during the construction process,and serious ground subsidence problems will occur as the bearing strength of the foundation increases,affecting the safety and service life of the road.Plastic drainage boards play an important role in the treatment of soft soil foundations.As long as the soft soil foundation is reinforced with plastic drainage boards according to relevant standards,a drainage channel can be formed.This can reduce the water pressure on the foundation,disperse the foundation load,reduce the settlement and deformation of the foundation,and improve the service life of highway tunnels.
