Risks of Plasticizer Migration in Plastic Pipes Applied to Hydraulic Engineering Projects
The plasticizers used in plastic pipes may migrate to water bodies over time;with changes in the usage environment,it can affect the performance of plastic pipes, pollute the water and surrounding ecological environment, and affect ecological security.Analyzing the migration mechanism of plasticizers in plastic pipes applied to hydraulic engineering projects,it can be concluded that the factors affecting the migration of plasticizers mainly include temperature, plastic product characteristics, plasticizer content, and molecular characteristics. To effectively suppress the migration of plasticizers in plastic pipes applied to hydraulic engineering projects,it is necessary to enhance the intermolecular interaction force between plastic pipes and plasticizers by surface treatment, grafting modification,or adding other additives. This can prevent plasticizers from spreading to the external environment and ensure water quality safety.
