Traditional manufacturing companies are highly susceptible to transformation failures due to the lack of capabilities or some other reasons.The development of big data provides new driving factors and development paths for them.This paper elaborates the connotation and characteristics of data-driven technology,analyzes its significance to the development of plastic manufacturing enterprises,and proposes specific transformation and upgrading paths to guide their digital development by combining with their involving problems at present.
