A Win-Win Development Strategy for the Plastic Recycling Industry and Circular Economy
With the intensification of global plastic pollution and the enhancement of public environmental awareness,the plastic recycling industry is considered one of the key paths to improve the environment and enhance resource utilization.The concept of circular economy can be applied to the plastic recycling industry in order to reduce dependence on petroleum resources and environmental burden by recycling and reusing waste plastics.Through organizing relevant literature and analyzing the current development status of this industry,it is found that this industry can provide renewable resources for the circular economy,reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution,while its circular economy model provides market demand and policy support for its sustainable development.To further promote the win-win development of plastic recycling industry and circular economy,it is necessary to optimize the top-level design of plastic recycling,increase research and development of plastic recycling and regeneration related technologies,strengthen industry chain cooperation,establish a collaborative mechanism between plastic recycling and circular utilization,and promote sustainable economic and social development.
