动脉粥样硬化中的miRNA:诊断和治疗

在过去的十几年中,microRNA(miRNA)尤其是其调节基因表达的功能受到了广泛的关注.越来越多的研究表明,miRNA与动脉粥样硬化(atherosclerosis,AS)的发生发展密切相关,主要体现在影响内皮细胞、单核/巨噬细胞和平滑肌细胞功能失调方面,从而引发和促进AS斑块的生长.患者外周血细胞中的miRNA水平可以作为判断疾病严重程度的标志物.此外,从miRNA角度开发新的治疗方法,有助于更好地治疗AS.本文总结了miRNA在AS发生发展中的作用机制,并着重关注了miRNA作为AS诊断的新型生物标志物以及AS潜在的治疗靶点的最新研究进展,为AS的临床诊疗提供了新的理论基础.
MiRNA in atherosclerosis:diagnosis and therapy
In the past decade,microRNA(miRNA),especially its function of regulating gene expression,has received a lot of attention.More and more studies have shown that miRNA is closely related to the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis(AS).This correlation is mainly reflected in the dysfunction of endothelial cells,monocytes/macrophages and smooth muscle cells,thereby triggering and promoting the growth of AS plaques.The level of miRNA in patients'peripheral blood cells can be used as a marker to judge the severity of the disease.In addition,the development of new therapeutic methods from the perspective of miRNA is conducive to better treatment of AS.This paper summarizes the mechanism of action of miRNA in the occurrence and development of AS,and focuses on the latest progress of miRNA as a novel biomarker in the diagnosis of AS and a potential therapeutic target for AS,which provides a new theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of AS.
