Research and development of medicine under different stages of clinical trials for treatment of osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease with a high prevalence in the aged population.Although there are some medicine that can be used to relieve the pain caused by osteoarthritis,the approved medicine have limited effects and some side effects,making it impossible to achieve very satisfactory results in clinical treatment of osteoarthritis.In this regard,much exploration on the therapeutic development of chemical,biological and traditional Chinese medicine for arthritis has been done both domestically and abroad.The corresponding research has brought new insight to improve the effectiveness of arthritis treatments.This paper does a comprehensive review on the progress of research and development of medicine for the treatment of osteoarthritis,especially a comparative analysis of the research progress of chemical and biological medicine for the treatment of osteoarthritis that have entered the clinical research stage,in order to provide insights for relevant researchers and developers.
