基质细胞蛋白是细胞外基质(extracellular matrix,ECM)的非结构成分,可以调节细胞外基质和细胞间的相互作用.分泌型模块化钙结合蛋白-2(secreted modular calcium binding protein-2,SMOC-2)是一种基质细胞蛋白,属于富含半胱氨酸的酸性分泌蛋白(secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine,SPARC)家族.SMOC-2可以通过细胞外钙(extracellular calcium-binding,EC)结构域与胶原蛋白、硫酸乙酰肝素聚糖和整合素等进行结合,参与多种信号通路,从而在不同的生物过程中发挥作用.研究证实,SMOC-2能够影响细胞周期,调节生长因子的血管生成作用,并介导细胞附着和迁移,在胚胎发育、组织纤维化和钙化、炎症反应以及肿瘤的发生发展等方面都具有重要意义.但SMOC-2与疾病关联的具体机制和更多生物学功能尚需进一步研究.
Abstract
Matricellular proteins are non-structural components of extracellular matrix(ECM),which can regulate interactions between extracellular matrix and cells.SMOC-2 is a kind of matricellular protein,belonging to the secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine(SPARC)family.SMOC-2 can bind to collagen,heparan sulfate proteoglycan and integrin through the extracellular calcium-binding(EC)domain and participate in a variety of signaling pathways,thus playing a role in different biological processes.Studies have confirmed that SMOC-2 involves in the regulation of cell cycle,angiogenesis mediated by growth factors and cell attachment and migration,which is of great significance in embryonic development,tissue fibrosis and calcification,inflammatory reaction,tumor occurrence and development,etc.However,the detailed mechanisms and more biological functions of SMOC-2 associated with diseases need further studies.
