Research progress in the diagnosis and treatment of alpha-fetoprotein-positive gastric cancer
Alpha-fetoprotein-positive gastric cancer is a special type of gastric cancer, which is highly malignant, prone to metastasis, and has a poor prognosis compared with ordinary gastric cancer.Diagnosing and treatment of AFPGC face many challenges, and the differential diagnosis is difficult.Currently, the diagnosis of AFPGC includes the detection of serum alpha-fetoprotein level and pathologic staining.Although traditional gastric cancer treatments are partially applicable to AFPGC,they are ineffective in improving the prognosis, and precision treatment strategies for AFPGC can improve efficacy. In this paper,we summarize the current research progress in the diagnosis and treatment of AFPGC,so as to clarify the current research status and provide ideas for the early detection, early diagnosis and clinical treatment of AFPGC.
