Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are a class of non-coding transcripts of more than 200 nucleotides in length.Increasing evidence suggests that lncRNAs play an important regulatory role in the occurrence and progression of cancer.HOXA cluster antisense RNA 2(HOXA-AS2)is a novel lncRNA,which plays an important role in the occurrence and progression of cancer. In this paper, the expression, molecular mechanism and related functions of HOXA-AS2 in a variety of human cancers in recent years were reviewed, and its possible clinical application was discussed.
