Roles of histone lactylation in non-tumor diseases
Histone lactylation is a novel post-translational modification mediated by lactic acid, which plays a role in various pathophysiological processes, including inflammation, fibrosis and pro-angiogenesis.It is closely associated with neurological, respiratory, and reproductive disorders and is potential drug targets. This paper briefly introduces the biological functions of histone lactylation and its roles in non-tumor diseases. These findings may offer novel ideas for the treatment and intervention of related diseases and provide insights into the functions and mechanisms of histone lactylation.
