The Limits of Human"Control"of Nature:Taking Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases as an Example
The utilization of nature, the transformation of nature and the creation of anthropomorphic nature by human beings have increased the risk of infectious diseases, while the ever-expanding interactions have facilitated the faster and wider spread of these diseases. In the fight against infectious diseases, human beings have continuously deepened their sci-entific understanding of infectious diseases, enhanced the prevention level, and gradually optimized the public health man-agement system, thus effectively controlling and even eliminating some infectious diseases. There is an intrinsic connection between human prevention and control of infectious diseases and human"control"over nature. The success of human beings in controlling infectious diseases shows that it is feasible to control nature in a limited scope and to a limited extent.Adher-ing to the concept of a community of life between humans and nature and establishing a global community of health for all is in line with the principle of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
