Research progress of N6-methyladenine modifications in breast cancer
Epigenetics plays important role in regulating the malignant progress of breast cancer, where N6-methyladenine(m6A)is the richest modification of RNA,taking part in many signaling pathways and influencing the tumor microenvironment.Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumors in Chinese women, which has a good prognosis after treatment at an early stage but a low five-year survival rate when metastasis occurs. As a new biomarker of screening breast cancer at early stage and a possible medicine target,m6A provides multiple ideas for the development of early treatment of breast cancer. This paper systematically reviews regulatory functions of m6A-related molecules in different malignant behaviors, and additionally list some target drugs and possible measures to screen breast cancer, providing new ideas to diagnosis, treat and monitor breast cancer.
