生命科学protocol类文献资源梳理及其发展趋势

研究结果公开发表与开放共享交流机制推动了近现代科学的快速发展,信息技术为更好地存储和传播信息提供了技术条件.生命科学是一门实验科学,生命内在的复杂性使得获取数据、支撑研究结果的方法的充分公开变得更加必要和迫切.针对出版物中方法细节报告通常不全、实验重现率低的局面,以reproducible step-by-step方式撰写为特征的protocol得以快速发展.本文首次系统梳理了 protocol文献资源;从期刊中的单篇论文到期刊专栏、整刊,再到专门网站和预印本存储数据库,protocol出版方式的这些变化,具体折射了实验方法逐渐独立于研究结果而开放共享的探索历程;最后展望了发展趋势.
Abstract
The public publication and further opening and sharing of research results have promoted the rapid development of modern science,and information technology has provided technical conditions for better information storage and dissemination.Life science is an experimental science,and the inherent complexity of life makes the full disclosure of methods for obtaining data and supporting research results more necessary and urgent.In response to the situation that detailed reports on research methods are often incomplete and experimental reproducibility is low,protocols characterized by reproducible step by step fashion have been developed rapidly.This article provides the first systematic review of protocol literature resources.The changes in protocol publishing mode,from individual papers in journals to journal columns,whole journals,specialized websites,and preprint storage databases,specifically reflect the exploration process of experimental methods gradually becoming independent of research results and open for sharing.Finally,the development trend is predicted.
