Research Progress of Sepiolite in Remediation of Heavy Metal Pollution in Agricultural Products and Water Bodies
Sepiolite is a kind of clay mineral with strong adsorbability,which has strong superiority in re-pairing heavy metal pollution in soil and water.Herein,the repair mechanism and modification methods of se-piolite are introduced,and the research progress of sepiolite in reducing the content of heavy metals(cadmium,mercury,arsenic,lead,zinc and chromium,etc.)in agricultural products and purifying water heavy metal pol-lution is reviewed.Compared with natural sepiolite,modified sepiolite and its combination products have po-tential advantages of strong pertinence,good repair effect and wide repair range.
