TheInfluence of Midwives'Body Mass Management During Pregnancy on Delivery Outcome
Objective:To analyze the influence of pregnant weight management(PWM)in midwife clinic on delivery outcome.Methods:100 pregnant women were selected as the research object, and all of them delivered in the obstet-rics and gynecology department of Gaoyou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022.Pregnant women were randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group implemented routine nursing management, and the intervention group implemented PWM in midwife clinic.Body mass index, delivery mode, incidence of adverse delivery outcome and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in body mass index between the two groups(P>0.05).The body mass index before delivery in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The natural delivery rate in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of PWM in midwives'clinic has a remarkable effect, which can ef-fectively control the body mass index of pregnant women, promote vaginal delivery, reduce adverse delivery out-comes and improve nursing satisfaction.
