Impact of health education on the care of patients with epilepsy
Objective:This study aims to investigate the impact of health education on the care of patients with epi-lepsy.Methods:72 patients with epilepsy from January 2021 to December 2023 were divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.The experi-mental group provided health education,drug management,lifestyle adjustment and other guidance to observe the changes of drug compliance,quality and quality of life in the process of nursing.Results:Compliance compliance,seizure frequency decline rate,epilepsy cognitive score,emergency treatment ability score,physiological dimension score,psychological dimension score,social dimension score,health education satisfaction score and nursing service evaluation score were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The assessment of anxiety,depression and stress in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.050).The num-ber of visits(times/person)and hospitalization days(days/person)in the experimental group were significantly less than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Through this study,we found that health education has a positive impact on the care of patients with epilepsy.Through health education for epilepsy patients,including dis-ease knowledge,drug management,emergency treatment ability,social dimension,experimental group physiologi-cal dimension,psychological dimensions,anxiety,depression,stress assessment lifestyle adjustment guidance,can effectively improve the patient's quality of life,drug compliance and psychological condition.
