Analysis of theImpact of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention on Cardiac Function in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome and Left Heart Failure
Objective:To investigate the effect of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)on cardiac function in pa-tients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and left heart failure(LHF).Methods:Eighty-six ACS patients with LHF admitted to the Department of Cardiology,Jinting Hospital,Sihong Branch from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional catheter intervention, while the observation group was treated with PCI.The curative effect and left ventricular function were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the con-trol group, the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the IVPWTd and LVEDd in the observation group were lower than those in the con-trol group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:PCI is effective in ACS patients with LHF and can im-prove their left ventricular function.
