Analysis of theRole of Pre-check-registration Integrated Information System in Improving the Emergency Departments Treatment Process and Improving Patients Treatment Experience
Objective:To explore and analyze the role of pre-examination and registration integrated information system in improving the emergency department's treatment process and improving patients'treatment experience.Methods:100 emergency patients admitted to Children's Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine from January to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and the traditional treatment mode was imple-mented,that is,pre-examination and registration were carried out separately.100 emergency patients admitted to the hospital from January to December,2023 were selected as the observation group, and the integrated model of pre-examination and registration was implemented. The triage time, triage accuracy, waiting time, medical staff satisfaction and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The diagnosis time of observa-tion group was shorter than that of control group, and the accuracy of triage was higher than that of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The total waiting time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of medical staff in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of each item and the total satisfaction score of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pre-examination-registration integrated information system can improve the emergency treatment process, shorten the triage and waiting time, improve the triage accuracy, and effectively improve the satisfaction of medical staff and patients.
